Dès maintenant se tient le premier tournoi de pré-qualif, dont le vainqueur rejoindra les meilleures formations mondiales afin de de disputer une place pour un week-end en Chine.

Le format choisi est un arbre en bo1 avec 32 équipes dîtes "subtops". On y retrouve Clan-mystik, qui peuvent ici réaliser une bonne performance après leur top2 à la Dreamhack Valencia. Les favoris restent néanmoins les Suédois de n!faculty.
