Hello Kévin, 2014 ended pretty badly for you, so let’s focus on 2015. You found back one of your former CSS teammate, RpK, who you know perfectly. Can you come back on this particular choice to ask a 2-year-retired player to revive a team? What does Cédric have which is essential for Titan?

Hey! So sincerely, at the moment we had to choose our 5th player for 2015, only one person thought about RpK, it was Jérôme (NiaK), and he took the lead by calling him without telling it to anybody. I think that he was so desperate that he needed to dream. Then, a night, he told us about RpK and we all 5 talked about it, at the beginning not seriously but gradually we realized that it wasn’t as utopian as it may seem, he was the kind of guy we were looking for. The only and huge risk was the lack of experience on CS:GO but we decided to take it and two month later we couldn’t be more satisfied.

How do you consider his comeback on CS:GO? He quickly showed he didn’t lost that much skill. He seems however to have theoretically dropped behind regarding the moves and plenty little details that make a difference on the high level scene. When do you think he will be back at his top level?

Evaluating Titan’s current level is kind of hard, we sometimes watch some amazing performances against today’s best teams, as much as  moments of inertia and less successful matches. On the one hand we could quote some successful events such as the Assembly Winter and the IOS Pantamera, but on the other hand there is this qualification for Katowice, which was extracted with difficulty. Do you share this feeling of inconstancy, and how do you explain it?

Kenny is currently in an amazing shape and can easily be considered as the world’s best player. Can you tell us about his progression since you already knew him as a young player?

He is really impressive. Since he came back, he got really strong with the team and has improved a lot compared to his time in Team Verygames. He strung a number of good  individual offline performances together which deserves respect. But he has to keep on working, to try to improve a lot of things and to work on his mistakes so that nothing changes. Everyone has his own flaws, even though it is less obvious for some players, it is everyone’s responsibility to pay attention to them.

However regarding Kenny, a real dependence seems to come up, the team’s results are actually very often bound to his shape. It is a point that was deliberately worked on to get the best of it?

You recently left your belgian gaming house. What’s your future on this and how are you now working?

Practice and preparation will be done online along with some bootcamps planned when needed. We are back to the old-fashioned way!

Which team are you the most afraid of? "Ourselves."

Only a few days left before the first major of 2015, how is your preparation going on? Are you bootcamping?

We only prepared on internet and we took our time to work on specific points that still needed improvement. Every team will be in top shape for this tournament, so we’ll have to be the best on D day both individually and as a team.

You’re going to face EnVyUs in the groupstage, is an early derby. Is it a good thing to start with?

You will then face Penta and LGB in that groupstage, both good but yet not top notch teams. What do you expect?

I expect very tough matches, we can’t afford to make one single mistake. We’ll need to stay focused on ourselves, to remain lucid and aggressive… If we bring our A-game, we will win.

Which team are you the most afraid of?

Ourselves. Otherwise, Virtus.Pro is the strongest team we have faced during practice, pretty much like last year. 

NiP, a team that you know better than anyone, is changing their AWPer 3 weeks before a major event. What did you think of Maikelele during these few months, and what is your opinion about his departure? What do you think of Allu joining NiP?

I don’t have a precise opinion about this. At every change they make, I just hope they will get weaker. They sometimes give me hope, and at each major they come back stronger! So… As long as they keep this core of 4 players, they will remain strong.

Since 2010, you always have been number 1 with your teams, at least in France. With the last year changes within the French scene, this tendency reversed. How do you feel being a challenger? Does this change anything for you, in your approach of the situation?
