The recent announcement about probable roster changes within the French top 3 teams came as a bombshell on both the French and international CS:GO scene. As a reminder, we announced you yesterday that Titan, Team-LDLC and Epsilon were about to mix their rosters, thus creating two new teams.

Seing your reactions, a lot of you were surprised by the changes that were about to happen, about the nature of these changes and the speed in which it seemed to have taken place. Today, new information was brought to us which might partially answer the questions you have. We insist on the fact that this new information should be taken carefully, but we feel that this is relevant enough to share it with you.

kennyS, apEX and Maniac, together again ?

This information enlighten these aspects:

- About the speed of these transfers: The discussions between players are going on since several days, it does not come from an impulse of some players.

- About the origin of these changes: It all began by a modification of Titan's roster, which caused changes in other teams by domino effect.

- About the reasons of theses changes: Seeing the great performance of Team-LDLC at EMS One Cologne, some of their players going to Titan can be difficult to understand. Financial reasons would not be the motive behind this choice, as the French structure would have made a counter-offer to match Titan's offer. Regarding Maniac, his motivation seems to be personnal, as he has a strong wil of working with Ex6tenz.

- About the chronology which led to these changes: The first roster considered by Titan's management would have seen Smithzz and Scream replaced by Maniac and apeX. However, it seems that some Titan players did not see things this way and wanted other changes to occur. This difference of opinion would have led to NBK leaving Titan on his own initiative. This is Nathan's departure which would cause the likely arrival of KQLY in the Singaporean structure.

We contacted Nathan "NBK" Schmitt who declined to comment on what he describes as "rumours". The management of the team has also declined to comment on this subject, but told that they will communicate on this matter soon.

Although this information is to be taken with a grain of salt, and might be incomplete, it seems to explain the breadth of the changes the French scene will endure. It was probably possible to limit these changes to two players from Titan, but as they are most likely going to take 3 players from LDLC, the situation is quite complicated for the French organisation. With all the players available on the market, it's not a surprise to see some side effects reach the Epsilon line up.
